Lent cooking: Bouillabaisse

This week's recipe is the. best possible kind: a recipe from a Louisiana mom emailed (on dial-up AOL, hurray 1900s!) to her college daughter suffering through Ohio cuisine. My mom's bouillabaisse is one of my all-time favorite dishes, Lent or not. It's fantastic with hot yellow rice (or any kind of rice). We use catfish or tilapia, but feel free to throw in whatever fish or shrimp or scallops or random sea creatures you have.
